John C. Lewis, DVM

VETERINARIAN

Dr. John Lewis grew up in nearby Jefferson County. After graduating from Jefferson County High School, he completed his A.A. degree at NFJC and transferred to The University of Florida where he obtained his Animal Science degree. Since Florida did not have a vet school at that time, he then attended Auburn University and received his DVM degree in 1979. After a brief stint in North Georgia, Dr. Lewis came to Madison County and started working with Dr. J.A. Davis, whose practice he purchased in 1983. Dr. Lewis and his wife Mary Alice reside in Madison and have 3 grown sons- all living elsewhere- a wonderful daughter-in-law and one grandson. Dr. Lewis is particularly proud of his extremely talented veterinary team members and enjoys coming to work every day.

Darren W. Baxley, DVM

VETERINARIAN

Dr. Darren Baxley obtained his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree in 2005 from Auburn University. After one year of practicing in central Georgia, Dr Baxley began practicing at Madison Veterinary Clinic in 2006. He enjoys working with companion and production animals. When not at the clinic, he loves to spend time with his wife and 3 children in beautiful Madison county.

Our Team of Groomers

Jennifer Morse (far left) has been working in the veterinary field since 2014. She is currently a groomer and especially enjoys working with large dogs and takes pride in her work. In her spare time she loves working with her horses and spending time with her family.
Alyssa Odom (left center) started with the Grooming Department in September 2021, she works alongside the groomers as a bather. She is going to college to pursue a career as a vet tech. She enjoys making your fur babies look fresh and clean, she especially loves working with larger breeds. When not at work she is at home cuddling her three fur babies – Diesel, Scout, and Georgia.
Abigail Adams (center) has been with the Grooming Department as a bather since 2021. She is currently working and training to become a groomer. She is still in school and will graduate in 2023. She has a love for animals and is very compassionate and caring for both our clients and their babies.
Lilybeth Wallace (right center) started volunteering at Madison Veterinary Clinic when she was 14. She became a part time employee when she was 16 and has been working at MVC ever since. When she’s older she hopes to attend vet school and obtain her degree in veterinary science.
Christy Killingsworth Mansouri (far right) has been grooming pets since 1989. She is the Grooming Department Manager and an experienced groomer. When not working she enjoys spending time with her three grandchildren Wake, River, and Tate. She also has one fur baby – Zenya.

Our Team of Technicians

STEPHANIE MOBLEY, CVT

Stephanie started working at Madison Veterinary Clinic in 1985. She graduated from St Pete Junior College in 1975. She enjoys the country life with her family and furry friends.

JOE STARLING

Joe began working for Madison Veterinary Clinic in 1977, originally for Dr Davis. Outside of work he enjoys cycling, home restoration, and exploring new music. He has 4 fur babies – “Harper”, “Sosuke”, “Ebenezer” and “Gansey”.

MACIE ROBERTS, CVT

Macie Roberts is a Veterinary Technician and has been in the veterinary field since 2017. She earned her associate of applied science in Veterinary technology, and she also has her associates in social work. She is devoted to providing the best care for every animal that comes into the clinic. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her friends, family, and pets.

NATALIE WADE, CVT

Natalie Wade has been with Madison Veterinary Clinic since 2020. She recently graduated from Southern Reginal Technical College with a veterinary technician degree, fulfilling a childhood dream. When she’s not working, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, and taking trips.

SARA AASHLEY FORD, CVT

Sara has been with Madison Veterinary Clinic since 2011. Sara is out Veterinary Technician Manager. She graduated with her Veterinary Technician degree in 2017 from Southern Regional Technical College. When she is not at work, you can find her bass fishing on the lake. She has two fur babies- Wes and Sage.

SARAH TIPPETTE

Sarah has been with Madison Veterinary Clinic since 2017. Sarah attended Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College and has transferred to St Petersburg Junior College where she is working toward a Veterinary Technician Degree. Sarah loves horses, cows, and enjoys working on both large and small animals. When she is not at work, you can find her hanging out with her two children Layton and Olivia, riding horses or playing with her Birddog “Birdie”.

KATHERINE RODRIGUEZ

Katherine Rodriguez has been part of our team since 2018. She earned her Veterinary Technician Degree in May of 2015 and has been working in the veterinary field since. During her free time, she enjoys time with her husband Casey, her son Cason, and her fur babies.

TIFFANY KINARD

Tiffany Kinard has been working with Madison Veterinary Clinic since 2021. She is currently in school to become a veterinary technician. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband Jared and her 3 children Lillie, Justice, and Anistynn along with her 3 dogs.

Our Team of Receptionists

Katie Waring (front row left) has been with Madison Veterinary Clinic since 2019. She is the Community Relations Director. She graduated from Valdosta State University with degrees in Business Management and Healthcare Administration. She loves being able to work with our clients and their pets. In her free time, she likes spending time with friends and family, or her 3 dogs.

Amanda Oberschlake (back row left) has been working at Madison Veterinary Clinic since 2006. She is the Reception Manager. She enjoys working with our clients and their sweet pets! Amanda loves spending time with her husband, 3 sons, and spaniels.

Sarah Hughey Kinard (front row left center) has been working in the veterinary field since 2005. She is our Financial Manager. She has always had a passion for helping people and animals. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, and fur babies Nova and Lil Bit

Krysta O’Quinn (back row right) started at Madison Veterinary Clinic in 2019. At an early age she found a love for serving others while volunteering through her church which made her a perfect fit for our receptionist team. When Krysta is not working, she enjoys being outdoors with her husband, daughter, and their fur babies.

Amber Hutchings (front row right center) started at Madison Veterinary Clinic in 2019. She earned a Dental Assisting degree in 2013 but now calls MVC home. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband James and 2 sons, JR and Jackson. She also loves hanging out with her 3 pit bulls.

Wanda Campbell (front row right) joined our team in 2022. She has worked in the veterinary field for 23 years. In her down time, she enjoys being outside, tinkering around in the garden, learning new skills, and relaxing with her husband Joshua. She has 2 cats and 2 dogs.
